We educate to strengthen families.
Red Hearts of Hope is a nonprofit dedicated to educating youth in efforts to build stronger families: science camps for children, a literary series that brings books to life, a leadership academy for high school students, mentoring for young mothers, and talks on what breaks families and what mends them.
Five programs, one heart
Summer Science Camp
Engineering-themed science for grades 1–5, ending in a showcase.
Bringing Books to Life
A literary series for readers aged 3 to 13, where a room becomes the book.
Leadership Academy
Skills, money habits and career exposure for high school students.
Purity’s Pearls
Mentoring for young mothers coming home from the juvenile justice system.
The Missing Pieces
Talks at schools and libraries on broken families and how to mend them.
Silence the cry of broken families
According to research, juvenile delinquency is a byproduct of a myriad of minute social responses which most frequently originate in the home. You can help!

Full STEAM ahead
At camp in 2018, a lesson on light — white light is made of many colors, each with its own wavelength and energy — turned into thermochromatic pigments, and then into slime that changes color with heat.
Three sisters, one idea
Red Hearts of Hope began with a science educator, Eunice Jean-Marie, who saw how little financial and academic knowledge many teenagers and young adults had to work with.
A series of small meetings with her sisters and a few local women laid the foundation. With starter money from family and friends, Eunice and her sisters Danielle Jean-Marie and Vanessa Desroches founded Red Hearts of Hope, Inc. in 2011.
